Rum Meringue with Strawberries

ohh, this is an amazing dessert! and so easy to make! I would recommend it to everyone, at least try it! But in my opinion you can never go wrong with a meringue dessert.



3 egg whites

150 gr caster sugar

few drops of rum essence

few drops of vanilla essence

How to prepare: 

Preheat the oven to 140-150 C

Whisk the egg whites and the essences with an electric whisk. Gradually add the sugar and continue whisking until the meringues is very thick and glossy.

At that stage lay some baking paper on a tray and scoop about 15 meringues onto the tray. Be careful to leave enough space between them as they might slightly become larger.

Bake in the oven for approximately one hour.
