Homemade Quiche Lorraine (with mushrooms)

Ohh the taste of this quiche! Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner! No wonder everyone loves it! Perfect for a Sunday at home to be honest, when all the family is spending time together, watching TV, playing board games or any other activities.

This is a fairly easy recipe, with basic ingredients that are found in every kitchen fridge in this world. That is why precisely I decided to bake this quiche today.. My fridge had only these ingredients (which blend in together very well)

To be honest I do not measure the ingredients used when cooking. I just use my common sense. But I will try to be as precise as I can for you, my dear readers!

So, here it is:

(for the pastry) 175 gr flour

85 gr butter (slightly melted)

3 table spoons of water

(for the filling) 3-4 rashers of bacon, finely cut

3-4 eggs

100 gr mushrooms, sliced

100 gr grated cheese

aprox 100 ml milk

Mix all the ingredients for the pastry together until a dough is formed. Leave to cool in the fridge for about 15 min.

In the meantime, fry the bacon in some oil and then add the mushrooms (or fry them separately)

Heath the oven at 200C

Roll the dough and put it in a quiche tin and put to bake for approx 10 min

Mix all the ingredients for the filling together. (bacon, mushrooms, cheese, eggs and milk) Do not forget to add salt.

When the dough is ready just pour the filling and put it back in the oven for approximately 25-30 min.
